AAAAAHHHH!!!!

Ed324 exam in a less than a week and I feel that I am getting no where with the studying! When i think that i am getting the idea of one of the philosophers i try to study another and the ideas of the first and second get all confused in my mind!! I think its a bit much to expect us to learn that much for one subject - I have a terrible memory and think that this is a memory test to see how much we can cram befor the exam! I have found this subject interesting though! (however I will be glad when it is finished!)

how did everyone get on with the serial day yesterday? I really enjoyed my day. The school, staff and class are all really friendly so am now really looking forward to placement in april!

Just have to finish all the exams and group work tasks before then!! Its becoming impossible to meet up with people as everyone has to be in about three places at once - as im sure you are all aware (or at least I hope I'm not the only one finding it really difficult to juggle all the group work!)

Ok... so we have been re-decorating at home and are getting our new suite and carpet. The only problem is they are both due to arrive today -even though the suite wasnt supposed to come until the end of feb beginning of march! so we have the small issue of what happens if the suite arrives before the carpet - as there is no where to put the suite except the living room and so where would it go when the carpet fitters arrive?!!

I went to a wedding yesterday - it was really nice to see the couple who looked really happy and appeared to be having a really good day. I was really impressed with myself and my friend (who was driving) as we usually get lost when we try to go to things like that - but we made it all the way there and back with no wrong turns!!

anyway! i am going to eat some lunch then going to maths tutorial!!

Since I'm not sure what I should be writing about for this, I thought that I could just start typing and see where I end up!

The most interesting thing about my life so far is probably the experience I had in Peru last summer. I went along with another 23 people to Kusi (a village in the Andes mountain range) and Puerta Alegria (a small village based along a tributery to the Amazon River). We spent our time building houses under the help, support and immense skill of Peruvian workers who, even though we lacked the talent they showed, were very patient and eager to help us learn these skills. The whole trip was a fantastic experience. I met lots of new people who are fantastic! And had the chance of an experience of a lifetime!! So much so I am going back to both villages this summer!

The trip was arranged through a charity, The Vine Trust. A christian charity. This charity work with the abandoned children of Peru to bring them food shelter and a chance at life, by supporting them in education and helping them to learn new skills which allow them to enter employment.

Ok. I always said that I would never have a blogg or anything like it but it appears that I have to start one for a module at uni. Hopefully I will manage to keep it up to date and interesting but that may be wishful thinking!
